Master Cylinders

Hi All...I would like to replace one of my master cylinders. When I was installing the new brake switch upgrade, I noticed a very small leak/seepage from the smaller master.

Do I just contact Bob to purchase a replacement, or do you recommend another source so I do not have to keep bugging Bob.

Thanks,
Nick

Nick - I sent you a text. It's all in the manual.:)

For about $60 each I'd replace both while you are at it and are opening the system up. Good time to do the flexible lines front and back as well.

My 782 uses Tilton master cylinders for brakes and clutch which you can buy through a lot of places - I bought one replacement through Summit Racing. The size is usually cast on the side of the body - 750 is 3/4 inch, 825 is 7/8 inch, etc. your car is a few years earlier than mine so I would check the back of the assembly manual to see what they used then.

Just replaced my whole system. The rod end seal was leaking ( dynamic seal OK )
CARiD...sells individual master cylinders without the additional parts in the kit that I found others selling....many additional parts not required.
Tilton P/N's 74-750 and 74-875
Gates Transmission oil cooler hose...SAE J1019 3/8"
Replaced the BMW reservoir with a like P/N
Relocated the new reservoir a clamp width higher to get the clamps out of the cockpit and accessible from the engine bay.
Added a hose clamp at the forward face of the footbox to insure no contact between pedals and hoses.
