Jag rear end camber adjustment advice needed.

I'm going to take some excess neg camber out of my jag rear end and wanted to know the best procedure before I break into it. I'm not certain how much has to come off(shocks sway bar etc) to get the half shafts loose to insert the shims. Do I just loosen the 4 half shaft bolts and the half shaft will come away from the rotor? There doesn't appear to be enough room on the backside of the rotors for the 4 bolts to be drawn back far enough for the half shaft to fall away, I thought I would ask the group for advice from someone thats been there before me. Thanks!

If you jack the car up and put jackstands under the frame so the rear suspension is hanging, all you have to do on mine is remove the 4 bolts and the halfshaft will easily slide off to put on the spacer.

Be sure you have the ride height set properly before messing with the camber. If the ride height is low, you will add negative camber depending on how low it is. Jaguar calls out -3/4 degree plus or minus 1/4 degree, but that is with the system resting at a predetermined dimension. Roughly a .020" shim will change camber by 1/4 degree.

Thanks Joyridin...I accomplished the task today. Jacked the rear up so the tires were off the ground 6". I removed just the lower bolt to the rear most shock which I then swung up and out and tied it up to get it out of the way...gave great access to the 4 bolts of the halfshaft. I used a smaller floor jack under the tire to keep the wheel from falling outward with the weight of the tire(safer to pull the wheel and tire but I didn't want to re-do my safety wire) 2 .02 shims on each side brought her into spec.
