Wiring Question

I have car 611 all wired except for the MSD 6AL. I have all the diagrams, but still I'm confused with the #40 (orange & white)wires at the coil and the MSD link to the Smith Tach. How do the MSD leads tie into the ERA harness? Maybe I'm making it out to be more dificult than it is, I just want to make sure I don't burn anything up.

Since the MSD unit is mounted under the glove box, are the MSD wires are to be run to the coil at the engine and not connected behind the dash?

Thanks for any in sight.
Todd
