Can't post pics

Sorry to bother you'all, but.....

I've been trying to post pics to this Forum for the last several days. I was able to last week but as of yesterday....nada, zilch. zero.....

Each of the two pics are about 60 kilobytes; well within the criteria for jpeg uploading file size. When I try to upload (about a dozen times....) I continue to get the "failed" message in the attachments box.

Tried to find a "senior moderator" or website manager to contact, but have been unable to pin down an Email or Club Cobra member name for one....

What am I missing here?

Thanks

Any chance you have a Photobucket account or similar photo sharing account? Makes it pretty easy to paste the URL into the reply box.

And apparently Photobucket has softened their position on forum image hosting.

I'm being blocked from uploading by a security program used by this site caleed Securi. It's claiming the only way I can upload is with special permission from the website. I sent a pm to one of the moderators but got no reply. This site has always been difficult to post pictures on.

Some help would be appreciated.

Tim

Tim,

So far as I know the only active Moderator is Jamo as Computerworks hasn't been on the site for over two years and Jamo is pretty busy so if you sent him a PM he may not have had time to get to it. I haven't tried to upload any pictures here to my Albums for some time so I don't know if I could or not. I use sevberal different hosting sites and then just link from them if I want to put a picture in a post.

I realize that you must learn a little about uploading and linking to your own site, but it's worth it not to deal with fickle "services". I also have a page with all my favorite links so I don't have to find one from a very long list, and I can access them from any computer. Lots of other stuff that I want to share, too.

For some strange reason they have never locked me out. I did max out my storage and pay for a small amount of additional storage annually - maybe that gets me a by for some reason.

I regularly monitored a few posts in various forums from a tablet that would have had no trace of my previous photobucket "history" (they allowed pics to be viewed if your photobucket credentials - cookies - were present, even if not logged into photobucket). Mine never went away either. Before they got greedy I had signed up (during the time of the 2014 Las Vegas Ford GT Rally) for a minimal paid account ($20/year?) because my rally pictures generated enough traffic that they wouldn't serve them unless I added bandwidth. That account renewed since I wasn't paying attention until I got the notice that the version I had wasn't offered and I would be upgraded to the $500-ish version and I told them where to stuff it. But the pictures never went down.

As mysteriously as my posting and pic privileges disappeared, they just reappeared today.

It's ALIVE.....! Thanks, to all!

Glad to her that. Now how about some of the pictures? :)

Alas, part two.... I still am unable to post attachments to these forums, either from my PC or from Fototime. I'll keep trying without bothering all ya guys.....

(Considering I used to write the navigational astrodynamic software that is the basis for GPS satellite accuracy, I find this (i.e., inability to post....) to be disheartening! LOL....)

Thanks, all............

I've tried Chrome and Edge to no avail. Still get this Securie thing.

I gave up trying to posts pics to this site years ago..It's a real shame and the moderators have forgotten that this will be an important reference place in the future.
