Broken Side Pipe Hanger
I was driving along this morning and heard an odd noise, like a bearing going out. I pulled into a parking lot and noticed the noise did not stop when the car was stationary. I walked around to the passenger side and my side pipe was hanging down because the rubber hanger had broken. I was close to home so I gently drove it home.
I don't have a piece of rubber to make a new one, so was thinking about leather or aluminum. My question is would aluminum be a bad choice? What do you guys think? |

The new hanger is installed and appears to be ok. The Walker unit is thinner than those supplied by ERA but they look to have more internal reinforcement.
