ERA 757 ... my rack is a Flaming River Mustang II unit . Just replaced my boots 3 weeks ago and ordered them from Summit Racing . I did call Flaming River first to get a correct part number before ordering . I looked for my invoice for a part number , but must have thrown it away .

Just remember to use lots of silicon spray .... and yes , they really do go over the large part of the tie rod . Just takes some time , silicon spray and a dull ( no sharp edges ) small screwdriver .

I used the FR1502B boot as a replacement on my Flaming River rack, and used a ring sizer to expand it to get over the tie rod socket.

The sizer is a long, slender cone shape. I found the point where its diameter was equal to the OD of the tie rod socket and cut it there. The result was an appropriate tool which, with adequate lubrication, got the job done readily.
