Another question about COA and titling

Still having issues with DMV and titling. DMV is giving crap about the fact that there is no information filled out on the backside of the COA. Especially in regards to the Dealer information. I bought kit directly from ERA, is ERA considered the dealer? are they supposed to fill in that first portion on the backside of the COA?

Not certain of how you are attempting to title your car, but typical kit car registration instructions for your state are as follows:

1: Go to your local DMV and get the 551 inspection form
2: Schedule your Highway Patrol inspection (Must be the Highway Patrol not a normal shop inspection)
3: Once inspected, the Highway Patrol will give you the completed 551 form. Keep this
4: Go to DMV and get an "Application for Missouri Title and License"
5: Bring or Mail application for title all receipts for your kit/parts and the 551 form to Jefferson City DMV. ( If you go there you can apply for a title and VIN at the same time. If you mail it in you have to wait for the DMV to assign title, Then you can apply for VIN)

** If you drive to Jefferson City and do the paperwork in person bring a check you will pay the applicable taxes at this time.

6: Highway patrol will call you to say VIN plate is ready. (Trailer car back up to HP inspection station for them to permanently attach the new VIN to the frame)

You may be able to use the ERA assigned chassis number, you may not, don't try to reinvent the wheel, go with the flow, and you'll be on the road before you know it.

^Yup, got all that, DMV was questioning my COA in regards to the backside. Maybe I got the wrong lady, I dunno.

But, anyway, is the backside of your COA's filled out by ERA?
