Grasshopper to Master

Hey is there anyone in the Connecticut area that has connections to, or knows of a program that offers sports car driver training. Not as rigid as Skip Barber, but along the same idea?

I will never race my car competitively because I put too much of my heart and soul into building it, but I would love solo track time to put the car through it's paces and use the potential of the machine.

Having no racing experience I would like some training before I do something stupid.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thank you.
Todd

I don't know offhand. I've heard of "chauffeur" classes for people who drive people who are likely to be persued by bad guys, but I think that's a California/DC thing. :D

If you're interested, you should consider the track training. I've never heard of anyone who said that they didn't learn a great deal about driving fast - and good driving in general.
