Autometer Gauges

Hey Bob,
I know this was talked about on another forum, but I think you left before I had the chance to ask you a question. Would the Cobra Autometer gauges be a direct replacement for the SW's, or would we have to change sendering units and other accessories. Also how much would you take off the price tag if you didn't supply the gauges.

Here is a link to the gauges. http://www.hdrcoupe.com/html/AutoMeterGauges.html

Ike,

The gages should interchange OK, although a new fuel sender may be required. You'll have to talk to Peter about the credit for no gages.

gas sender

Mike at tristate wanted to know what gas sender I had so he would know whether the gas gage was right

I use the sender unit which operates at 240 to 30 ohm (nominal) for my gauge selection.

The 240 to 30 ohm range is normal S/W spec. No problemo.
