Front Wheels

Hi Bob, met you at the shop last monday. Hope your wiring guy is back to work, you were lookin' a mite frazzled! Anyway a quick question, would 11' wheels fit up front on the 427 w/o modification? I like the deeper dish look of the rears. I will have 6 pin drive 17'' wheels. Just wondering!

Regards

Keep in mind that if you're going to try and put deep dish wheels on the front, they will stick out 3 1/2 to 4 inches farther than the present front wheels...also if you don't have 11's on there now, you'll have to add the additional inches to the stick out. Also if you try to put 11 inches under the body, more than likely you'll hit the frame with the tire while turning....

Fingrs is correct. While we can fit 9.5" wide wheels in the front, most of the change in offset is toward the inside.
The correct offsets are posted here.

Thanks to both of you. One less thing for me to think about in this process!%/
