Wiring Question

I've seen a few ERA cars and I must say they are beautiful. One question about the engine compartment wiring harness. I understand that in the name of authenticity, the fuse box, and all wiring run across the firewall/footbox. Is there an option to put all but the absolute necessary wiring inside the car ( fuse box, starter solenoid, etc.. ) . I'm looking for a smooth look with the bare minimum under hood. Thanks

Nope. I suppose you could negotiate with Peter to delete the wiring harness and install your own. I've grown up %/ with furrin cars and much prefer not to climb under the dash for the fuses myself.

I saw an ERA with a clean look (no wire in plain sight ) . Get the wiring harness !!!, you will find a way to use it either as a plan to get ideas from , or parts off it !!! you must see how the quality is

I ordered my firewall "undrilled"

I also wanted a "cleaner look" to the firewall on my ERA, and did not want the fuse panel and relays up there. I re-routed all of my firewall wiring to the inside of the car. I located the fuse panel, relays, wire harness, and MSD inside the cockpit.

It looks great that way, but is a pain to service - fortunately, there has not been much need to do anything with it, once it was set-up.

I even hid the hood latch brackets behind the aluminum firewall panel.
