Noticed a new picture on the website of a ZF with an M1 cover, one with the cast on ears. Is this what you're using now exclusively or will the old setup still work? Should I put one on the list? Isn't this the type cover the original ZF's used in the GT40? Remember seeing photos somewhere. See, my wife wasn't too far off when she started calling the car "the moneypit" and I don't even have it yet! Dave |

The cover is similar to (but not exactly like) the original GT. You can use either setup. We have crossmembers for both. The cover is available from RBT. Bob P. |

ZF Transaxle lid with the ears
Just to clear up the lid question: I make the lid at RBT Transmissions www.rbttrans.com the price is $350.00 with the breather, I also supply Bob Byers. We sell OEM ZF parts and build Transaxles for the GT-40's new and used.
