Any ERA Owners in NC

First let me say thanks for all of the replies to my "ERA Wannabe" post last week - I'm very encouraged by the feedback. Wanted to see if there are any ERA owners, specifically 289 FIA cars, in North Carolina. I live in Raleigh and am interested in looking at one of these cars in person. Also, are there are any 289 FIA owners that would be willing to send me any photos of their cars via e-mail (timfetner@mindspring.com)? I'm trying to decide how I'd like to build the car (mine will probably be some type of street/track blend) and decide on some potential colors. I'm trying to get some ideas and make some of these decisions prior to placing an order. Thanks.

Redbird-
I don't know if you are able to make it or not, but the Kit Car Nationals are at Carlisle, PA the weekend of the May 16-18 and ERA will be there and I'm sure they will have a 289 car with them. According to mapquest, it's a little over 400 miles from Raleigh- not a short trip- but might be worth it for you.

Regards,
Mike

Red:

ERA will be at Carlisle from Fri - Sunday.

God willing and the creeks don't rise, I'll be there too with my FIA shown here at last year's Carlisle event:

Hope to see you there.

:D You got one just east of Statesville in Hickory just off I40. Mine is ERA409, a 427sc. Take a look at it on my photo gallery. If you're interested in a personal visitation, let me know.

Colors? There are only two that should be considered; red or blue.:3DSMILE:

There are a million choices!!!:D I built a couple model cars to get a better feel for Ideas I had in mind. This is the combo I will be going with on my FIA. The only real difference is that I will be using Pin drive Kidney bean wheels with the center powdercoated a dark grey. I wanted to stay with colors from the era that would keep that vintage racing appeal
