Bob

When can we see the new tubs on your production floor? Mine

Lots of small stuff to get closer to the original:

1. Front anti-sway bar moved under the floor.

2. Optional integral seats instead of the separate buckets.

3. Pedal assembly hung from the top - easily adjustable from the driver's seat.

4. Floor has integrated transverse flutes.

5. Cooling tube bump in the front is rounded on top.

6. Wider tunnel for larger MK2 cooling tubes.

7. Larger access to fuel cell access plate.

8. Room for larger fuel tanks.

9. Provision for mounting battery on rear subframe.

10. Lots of internal chassis mods for easier assembly.

11. New flutes on the rocker tops

12. Wiring harness changes (already implemented) with a new firewall module prewired.

I think that covers it. :D

Bob:

So THAT explains what you've been doing for the last year or two up in the loft...

Can't wait to see the finished tub (just as soon as the boys in the welding shop figure out your notes on how to weld one up).

Bob:

Thanks for the "virtual" walkaround of the new pedal/steering column setup on saturday.

A sneak peak into the welding shop and a quick once over of the pile of stainless panels welded up on the first chassis jig indicates that the first of the new tubs is almost done with little ribs (and we're not talk'n pork ribs here) all over the place; in the tops of the pontoons, in the floor, along the sides. What a work of art. good thing I 've held out for one the "new" tubs.

Anyone interested in a low mileage (128 mi) ERAFIA roller?

Jim
