Halfshaft Length?

Hi Bob,
I've got a newer XJS rear with outboard brakes. You folks shortened the lower control arm for me, but the axles are almost 1/8" shorter than normal, so I've got to shorten them myself. This wouldn't be a problem if I knew how long (short?)%/ to make them. I talked with Doug at ERA, and he said you shorten the axles to 11 7/8". The print you sent me gives a center to center length of 11.660, which is .215 shorter. Please enlighten me. :JEKYLHYDE
Thanks,

Dan

Your axle should be shortened to the print I sent you. 11.66" c/c. Your different inner and outer components force the length change.
