2x4 setup for 428BB

I am really intrigued by the look of the 2x4 barrel look on the 428 BB,and am considering putting this setup on my ERA(when I finally get it ordered!)I am interested in a relatively mild build on the engine to put out approx.400-425h.p.,as I am interested in streetability and will not be racing. My car will have a wide ratio Toploader and 3.07 rear gears. My question is this:will this setup be compatable and easy to live with,(without constant tinkering, etc)and provide crisp throttle response with no bogging? It would seem to me with two small carbs and a fairly mild cam that idle vacuum should be excellent, and response should be crisp, but just wanted your opinion based on your experience with this combo. Also,do you have any Idea on the approx. difference in cost over a single carb?
