Rick:

Not to worry. We're not stopping.

Team ERA Motorsport will be on the road next year to various events. Jose's GT is back from paint and is being assembled. It looks like 1075. He intends to open track it, so he has a roll cage and power brakes... and a stroker 351.

My next ERAGT tub is about done and that will be next year's project. As to J10, little by little, it is going back together. The motor has been gone through and items such as a Boeing 707 windshield wiper motor have been obtained. Various other projects (bogus GT350, Carrera 924GT, etc.) are in various stages of disarray. These have become lifetime projects.

Hope to see your project when you have it together... and it may take more than lunch.

Jim

When I picked up ERA #424 in a blizzard on a Saturday night one February about eight years ago, Bob was the only one at the factory. He met me there about 8 p.m., helped me load it in the sleet, and probably has not had a night off since.:3DSMILE: :JEKYLHYDE

Bob, even though I'm not "currently" an ERA owner I hold you and the company (except Peter, natch) in the highest regard. You are the closest thing this forum has to an omniscent voice, and I'm glad you're still around in whatever capacity you can muster. I also join the ranks of those who hope your full-time presence as "Bob P." is restored at some point--

Bob

SnakeEyes,

I seldom work late. On the other hand, I start at 6:30am. :JEKYLHYDE Fortunately, my mind functions much better in the AM, so 90% of my thinking is done by noon.

No one should ever ask me a technical question after 9pm. You'll just get gibberish.

Which may or may not be an improvement on the rest of the day. ;)

Hey, I'm the same way.

Only problem is, my "period of lucidity" lasts from 7:01 to approximately 7:03 a.m. It usually lets me get out of the driveway and point my car in the proper direction towards work, and then I spend the rest of the day addled.:3DSMILE:
