Side Pipe Dent/Interior Door Hardware

I've ended up with a small dent in one of my side pipes. Is there an easy fix for this?

Also, both doors latches probably looked good when the ERA was built in the 1980's, but the chrome has gone south, so are those latches replaceable or is re-chroming the way to go?

Any input would be appreciated.

The " Finish Line" sells door latches .
With side pipe off , if you can get to the dent with tools and get it
red hot with a tortch , you might be able to spoon out your dent .

Cobra:

Another alternative with respect to the sidepipe (if they aren't stainless) is to have a bodyshop use a "puller" with a temp. welded on rod. (Do I quite know what I'm talking about? Naw, but I would ask them if it were possible.) Of course the sidepipe would then have to be refinished...
