Exhaust restriction

Anyone research/find a better flowing exhaust system for an ERA 427SC?

I have the standard side pipes and might be looking for a better flowing set-up while retaining the ERA branch pipes off fo the engine block.

Todd,
I assume that you got the standard plain steel side pipes from ERA. They are made by Tubular Automotive in Mass. The standard glass pack has a 2.5" core diameter. I called Tubular Automotive and they built me a set of side pipes with 3" core diameter glass packs. I am custom fabricating primary header pipes for my engine in 2.125" diameter, so I am also going to custom fab another set of side pipes to match those primary pipe diameters. I will probably use the same 3" core glass packs, but I'm also welding on a flange so that I can remove the glass pack and replace it with a straight pipe if I want to. When I'm done I will be selling the 3" core side pipes from Tubular Automotive. If you are interested in them and can wait a month or two, let me know. They are brand new, never installed.

If you're going to weld on a flange to swap out mufflers...may I suggest V bands!
