ERA #155 - 427 S/C on Ebay

Here is something you do not see too often.
Looks to be ERA #155 with a 427 Side oiler and loads of goodies.

Not my car, and I have nothing to do with it either, just posting this for those that may be interested in finding the proverbial hen's tooth.

Tongue Pirate 02-21-2004 02:51 PM

Hmmm...... Torrance? Could this be the same outfit that had the unfinished ERA Kits?

Unique580hp 02-21-2004 03:04 PM

Let's hope the car is better than the spelling!

I just looked at the ad and was amazed at how many words were misspelled. I hope that if this is the same person that assembled the car that they can read the directions better than they can spell.

I had the exact same thought. **)

jamvan 02-21-2004 05:57 PM

I agree.

I would have a serious problem buying a $60K car from "sumbody" who can not spell.

jamvan 02-21-2004 06:05 PM

Actually the guy is selling 4 cars on ebay. Each ad is worse than the next.

That car must have sat unassembled for a long time. I have ERA #122 and it was built in 1986...Not a very clean car either.

From looking at the pictures I honestly think mine is a whole lot nicer for a whole lot less....but then I'm slightly biased.:D

Gary:D :D

Chaplin 02-23-2004 10:58 AM

Gary-
I agree with you and I'm not biased at all. If I didn't have an ERA already, you would be shipping that car out east to me right now. Why are you selling it?

Gary Morris 02-23-2004 11:09 AM

Chaplin....I want to build another one to "my exact specifications", rectangular tail lights, rivet on hood scoop, etc...etc..

My ERA #154 was first delivered in 1986.

By the way, I wouldn't pay a dime over $35K for an ERA with a 427 S.O. bored 15 over with a 428 crank for a total cid of 454. But then again, what do I know.......

Ernie

Chaplin 03-17-2004 03:52 PM

Oinie,
I'll give you $35,100 for it.:)

Jim Holden 03-17-2004 08:24 PM

You cheap b......

I'll go $35,125.00

Jim

PS: Although, with ERAGT2077 going for paint in a day or so, Peter will be calling me for money.... so, nevermind.

Chaplin 03-17-2004 08:57 PM

Jim,
Don't answer the phone%/

Jim Holden 03-18-2004 07:51 AM

Chaplin:

Actually I think he has an automatic draw on my bank account.
