New Stainless Steel Brake Co. Caliper - Will it fit ERA with Pin Drives?
Hi Bob:
I just noticed that the Stainless Steel Brake Company (SSB) has just announced a new Camaro 1970 - 78 caliper designed for non-power assisted braked vehicles. I was wondering if this would work on our ERA's ? It is supposed to replace the OEM Camaro 70-78 brake calipers. I have attached the URL below. Would this fit behind our pin drive 15" Halibrands do you think? They provide a fitment diagram as a link within the link below. Your thoughts??... http://www.stainlesssteelbrakes.com/...maro&year=1971 |

I am going to try a pair on my FIA (#39). they should work with the 6 pin KO's.
If not, I'll let you know. |

Did you notice they come in various color and polish/finish options? Cheers |
Howe makes a similar caliper that's a little less fancy (and possibly intended for racing only) that sells for $105 without pads. You'd have to machine it to fit the 1" wide rotor though. #33602
