cobra options

Bob,
Thinking about switching my GT40 deposit (I must have the time-line record by now) to a cobra but have a couple of option questions:
1. Are you aware of a quaife (worm gear) differential available for the Jag housings you employ?
2. Have you built/installed dry sump systems for either of your 289 or 427 cars? If so, any pics?
3. Have you seen/built/installed the 289-style FIA/USRRC roll bars(standard attachment points behind driver's shoulders but third point is passenger-side foot box attached) for your 427 cars? I recall seeing one such bar in a larger diameter installed on a 1980's Hot Rod magazine cover car (Arntz 427 car?) that looked great (my opinion) but may have caused problems for occupants.

pavulon Scott as of 6 months ago they don't make a worn gear posi for an dana 44 rear. I looked into it myself. Yes they have put dry sumps in all the cars, it's an option and works great. I have a custom roll bar built for my car by ERA. It's a 5 point with all the mounts on stock locations. Have the top loop 3" taller than you if you run alot of club races, it to protect your head on a roll over. I have the stock high one allso. I don't have a camera to send you photos. They can custom build whatever you need. I have the first sweet rack with P/S assist in an ERA. Rick Lake

Pav:

Go from a GT back to a Cobra? Boy, that's a step back. (trick is to have them both...). Of course you can do what I do; have one and then the other...
