TKO Clutch fork

1 Attachment(s)
Anyone use this clutch fork with your ERA? It is a TKO clutch fork(from David Kee). First my clutch slave was too close to the fork. Doug at ERA sold me a spacer that pushed it back and in closer to the engine. I still don't have a good fit. The fork can be pushed all the way down towards the ground and it lines up decent but when I use the pedal it creeps back up to the point it rubs a little on the fiberglass. Once it is in this position not only does it rub on the fiberglass (lower body tunnel) but then the push rod is off center and the threads grind on the slave cylinder when I use the pedal.

I think this is the last gremlin I need to solve before I can drive the car so any help is greatly appreciated.

Have you trimmed the corner off as described in the manual?

I spoke to Doug about it this morning. I did not trim the fork because the end was less 2" wide as described in the manual. I can still do it if necessary but I think the fork will just want to move higher if I do. I an going to try to shim the bracket to get better alignment of the slave cylinder first. The rod threads grinding against the cylinder wall is a bigger issue than the fork rubbing the fiberglass.
