clutch bleeding

My build manual says to bleed the clutch with the car level or the front higher than the rear. This thread says the opposite (rear higher):

Which way is correct?

The manual. We have mounted the master so it tilts up a bit at the back so it won't trap air. The slave is horizontal and has the bleeder at the front - and that's the end you want higher. The best technique is to initially bleed with the car lever. If there's any remaining air, raise the front and bleed some more.
