Folks:

Bob has posted some pictures of one of the more interesting cars ERA has put together; the twin Paxton Supercharged "Cosby" auto trans recreation. Truly a beautiful car done by the boys up at ERA.

You're right, it's another exceptional ERA recreation. I have a lot of pictures of the original twin Paxton Supercharged, which a took a few years ago in Pittsburgh. Jack "BRUTAL ERA-576"

Good job!

You guys are the best!

You'd like to have your ERA back, wouldn't you?

TURK

I know the guy you sold it to, it may be arranged.

I was just thinking along those lines last night...You are probably right - all in all, I would.

Pat - How bout a status report on the GT-40. Haven't heard anything recently. Is an engine being built for it yet?

PatBuckley 09-09-2004 10:50 PM

Hoppy -

Thanks for asking but I am concentrating on getting the Kirkham on the road right now....a few minor but really irritating glitches that I have to work through and still keep my temper in check.:)

I am talking with SpecialK and Frosted Flake about an engine though - probably do something like a 347 with injection or Webers.

Another fantastically detailed ERA to hit the roads. I saw the replica of the Ken Miles Targa Florio 289 that had just been completed. I could smell the new paint as I lay gazing at the underneath, mixed with the smell of hot grass from the low exhaust touching it (it's a sensory thing). It even had the right stance which I feel is critical to a duplicate. ERA does such a nice job of all the details where they are seen. That hood is so distinctive on the Paxton but they get it so correct looking it really appeals to us fanatics.
