Trigos??

Will the Trigo FIA styles wheels fit an ERA.

They list the wheels as 7 1/2" X 15" front and the rears as 9 1/2" X 15", both with 3 1/2" backspacing. I am concerned of the backspacing and the wheel well room.

In looking at my ERA manual it lists Team III and PSE but not Trigo. Has anyone used them? Happy???

Thanks,

-John

Hey Fox.....did you ever get that old small block of yours running?

Fox 12-03-2004 03:50 PM

Blykins,

Why yes I did. Plug to the lifter valley, oil problem solved...sorted out a small fuel and electrical problem with my homemade test stand and then VVVVRRRROOOOMMMM... Some stand pics in my gallery.

I plan to get some bugs out...tinker with the carb and the timing and learn a little more...

I have redone two bathrooms and have a little basement work to do...we have a 2nd baby due in February and that is kinda the deal I've made...Need to take care of the WE, before I can move on to the ME... if you know what I mean.

If all goes well, a deposit on an FIA goes in after the first of the year. :)

Thanks for asking.

AFAIK, nobody's used Trigo's FIA wheels. Too new. I'll send Lyn our offset specs on Monday to confirm compatibility.

Thanks Bob, I appreciate your looking into it.

AFAIK??

Coincidentally, we just got a set of Trigos. The fronts will require some backspace increase (which will be relayed to Lyn Park), but there's lots of material to do the machining.

Thanks Bob for looking into that. I will ask Lyn about making the backspacing adjustment.

Just how much of an increase is needed for the front wheels?

We machine about 0.4" from his standard setup, increasing the backspacing and narrowing the hub depth. Apparently we've already done a set like this but I was not privy to the process...

Bob,

I look forward to solving such a high class problem. I am sure our paths and this issue will cross again soon.

Until then...
-John
