optional suspension
 
Does anyone out there have the optional outboard brakes suspension that ERA offers?

I'm wondering if this unit suffers from wheel hop.

There was a long thread on a member who designed a fix to wheel hop on ERAs. Apparently, the outboard brake rear didn't have the problem.

I've got the optional rear suspension on ERA684 and have not noticed any wheel hop yet.
Since the car is relatively new I haven't had a chance to really wring it out yet (Oregon....., winter...., rain? Who'd have thought) but the once or twice I've launched fairly hard the wheels just spin, no hop.

A friend has an ERA - FIA with that rear suspension with the standard Dunlops that ERA can provide.
Two days off drag strip abuse, zero hop, mucho spin.
