fia vs 427 front end.

Does anyone have pictures of an FIA and a 427 sitting side by side from the front?
I noticed on ERA's home page that the chin of the FIA is much taller than the 427, but I think this may be because the cars were sitting in the grass.
I think I have narrowed my search for a replica kit down to the ERA brand, but I just can't decide between the 289 and the 427 body style. Either way, the car would be home to a small block. I know you aren't supposed to put a small block in an ERA 427, but I just like the Windsor over the FE.
Also, does anyone in theHouston area have an FIA or 427 that I could look at?

you can look in my photo gallery at my fia car sitting next to a 427 car. the 427 is so low that when he pulled into a parking spot he went over the parking stop and when he tried to bback the car off the body bent at the upper arch of the front fenders. my fia car does not have the drive train installed at the time of the photo and is the reason it seems to ride so high.

That's a nice shot ST. I love the color of the FIA, What Blue is that? Looks a little like the Blue used on the 40th anniv. cars. Very nice.

Thank you ST that was the shot I was looking for.
Does the FIA front end look too high in person?

No, it looks just like it should.
Don't forget the FIA's have a transverse
leafspring as compared to the coil-over used on the 427's.
