Era Fia Pix???
I need a couple pics if anyone has them.
#1. A good shot of the overflow tank hose routings on a carbureted, no heater car. I have mine set up but not sure of a couple of the routings. The pump to the tank...Should it go under the alternator & around the frame support or through the alt. belt opening? #2. I want to give building my own brake scoops a go. Any detailed pics of these would be helpfull. I have downloaded all I can find but most are at bad angles & dimentions aren't clear. |
Here are 2 pix of the ERA brake ducts. Sorry, no dimensions. Good luck...:)

Hyde,
I am running the same set-up...carb. no heater. I ran the hose below and around the alt. but inside the frame upright. This was how several cars were set-up at ERA. |
Great! Thanks for the help guys! Any more pics or dimentions of the Ducts would be great too. Those do help a lot. From what I've read the general suggestion is to not run them on the street due to the possibility of debris being shot at the rotors. I was thinking of aiming them more to the back & the ground. I just really want the look without adding the extra wear & it sounded like a fun little metal shaping project.

Hello
I ordered the ducts from Cobra Restorers. But they where not to use! Therefore I ordered the ERA ducts any they where perfect! (I had only to cut them at the inside to have sufficient place for the wheels) I mounted them on my car last year and I had never any problem on the street! (I added two pictures to my gallery) Regards From Switzerland :D ALF |
Alf, what kind of cobra do you have? I've noticed on the COC Website that it must be a 289 but I couldn't find any information about it.
