ERA Cold Air Vent Cable Not Working
Has anyone else had a problem with the clamp down for the cable pull for the cold air vents - where it attaches to the flapper valve box?
Mine won't clamp the outer cable pull shield tight enough - if you pull the cable, the outer shield moves too - net result - the vent flap doesn't move. These are not easy to get at, but right now mine are accessible due to other work I am doing. Do you just re-bend the clamp?:confused: |

The Clamps are not very strong. In my case I used (2) cable ties on either side to keep the outer jacket of the cable from moving in the clamp
