Chrome wire wheels - sources?

Flipping through yet another Cobra book last night I became somewhat infatuated with the look of the chrome wire wheels with the knock-off hubs on the early 289's.

I've seen a few ERA 289 FIA's with chrome wire wheels, and they look really classy. I'm sure I wouldn't want to race in them, but I imagine they'd be safe for the street with a small block.

Who manufactures the chrome wire wheels and about how much are they?

The wheels are made by Dayton, 7" and 8" wide. Roughly $500 each with the adapters. If you're interested, I have all the backspacing and model specs.

Bob,
Thanks for the quick response. I'll look them up. My front spindles are for the knock-off wheels, so would an adapter be necessary?

By the way, I have a small shopping list of stuff I need from ERA. You guys will see an order from me in about two weeks for a mix of stuff. I'll call with the list for a quote.

Doug,

Unfortunately, the wire wheels' adapters bolt onto a standard flange. The good part is that you should be (approximately) able to pay for the new wheels and hubs if you sell your old ones if they use the standard brakes.
