Drivers seat won't adjust

The drivers seat in my ERA has tracks, but when they are bolted down to the floorpan they won't move. I'd like to give my wife a chance to drive the car some but unless I can move the seat up she won't be able to reach the pedals. I removed the seat and the tracks move fine, but as soon as I bolt it back up it won't move. Am I missing anything? The tracks bolt to the seat and the lower part of the track has studs that go through the floor and are retained by nuts.

Bob will likely have better info, but two things...
First, the tracks have to be "close" to parallel or they will bind during movement.
Second, on my car they had to be spaced up more level than the floor pan...maybe my carpet installation was causing some issue, but the right front was higher than the left rear corner, and also the seat was dragging on the carpet a bit...it all adds up.

Ken has it right. Make sure that the tracks are parallel when they're bolted to the floor. As I remember it, the front of the right track ends up on the tunnel, so shim the other three to match the height.

Thanks for the tips guys. Maybe some shims are in order, I'll check it out.

A good source is an alignment shop, use the U-shaped caster/camber shims as needed.
