Hooking up a Pertronix rev-limiter
In the process of hooking up a Pertronix rev limiter and was wondering if anyone out there,including Robert, has done this before. If so, how were the wire leads routed, especially the "White" wire ? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

What is your current ignition setup? If you are using an MSD with a tach output you can probably continue to use the MSD tach output. If you are using a system without a dedicated tach output, connect the white wire to the signal terminal on the tach.

Robert, using the stock distributor with a Pertronix insert. According to the instructions, Red = ignition switch (White wire, #40, coil to starter solenoid), Yellow = negative coil (Orange wire, #40, coil to signal side of Tach), Black = Gnd and White = Tach output (??????). Using the 427 schematic, Yellow goes to signal side of tach, but where does the White go ? If you go to the Pertronix site, installation instructions for Rev Limiter/non-HEI, it will explain the layout. Sure could use your help. Thanks.......

Instead of pulling the tach signal from the coil's orange #40 wire, try running a wire from the white wire of the rev limiter directly to the tach's signal terminal (or the W/B wire from the Smith tach's plug).
