Fuell Cell

Is there a recommended fuel cell (ATL, etc.), or a particular vendor who has already tooled a cell for an ERA FIA?

Thank You!

Nothing offhand. The available space is 13" front-to-rear, 9.5" high, 28" wide. If you come up with a possible tank, I'll give you the location of the filler cap on it.

ATL lists a custom cell for the ERA in the vintage section.

Thank you for the replies.

Bob,

Can the stock fuel tank be removed through the trunk?

Yes. You may swear a bit, but it's quite possible (since that's how we put it in). There's a reason for all the odd corners on the tank: It's so it will come in and out.

The tank is held down with a strap attached at the outside of the chassis rails.

Thanks Bob.
