A little Italian light opera
Folks:
Folks: In this month's Road & Track, Peter Egan writes about what it was like forty years or so ago to visit the Ferrari factory in Maranello. Anyone who has dealt with our boys at ERA in New Britain will recognize the reference to the "little passion play." Peter Egan writes about the Ferrari factory that "It was so Italian, and so... operatic." Peter also refers to how spartan the old factory was... "It was the cars that matter..." Good reading as always... and familiar tale to anyone who has made the trek to New Britain. Jim |
I don't know about that. My tenor is getting a little weak, and my arthritis keeps me from waving my arms much.
Peter, on the other hand... |
Jim,
As you well know I've been to New Britain several times. I've also been to several Italian operas including a few "light" operas. The guys at ERA, particularly Peter, are much more entertaining! Plus you can understand the language (most of the time!). After all, at least the guys at ERA speak a dialect of English! |
