Learning To Post Photos

1 Attachment(s)
Just trying to learn how to post photos. Let's see if this factory shot of #2117 makes it. An August 2007 photo, just back from paint, currently the car has motor and tranny in, awaiting seats next week. Bob / Peter any current photos available ? (I believe Peter uses a gas operated camera, so I need Bob's assistance to get anything "e-commerce style"). I would really like to see a shot of the motor installed, as well as those new "dark saddle" color seats. Thanks.

Rick,
In the photo the color of your 2117 looks almost identical to my 2111. What color did you use? Looking good! BTW-I'm not sure that Peter has graduated to using a camera yet (gas or otherwise powered). I think he still draws his pictures!

Warren, the color is BMW Mystic Blue. It's got a titanium metallic component that reacts with sunlight to change the color somewhat. We did a "dark saddle" leather for the seats and door pockets. Seats are sewn and should be fitted today. Hoping he is done by the end of this week!! I would like to be going for a drive in the Keys before Christmas!!

I've put some pictures up, just not yet embedded into a web page.
Picture List

Just click on a file to load it.

Notice the hot rear tires. ;>)

Now I know why it looked so familiar, BMW Mystic Blue was one of the "finalists" for 2111. Nice choice. Looking forward to pictures when it is complete since I probably won't make it back to NB until March.

Bob, thanks big time for the photos!!! Dash looks great, so does the whole car. I see Tony put the "clear guard" on the rear fender - shows a little dull but is supposed to be pretty effective in protecting against rock dings. Bob, again THANKS!!! Rick, and OH YEAR THOSE REAR TIRES ARE SLICK!!

Rick,

The tank will be put on soon, but we're waiting for some back-ordered retaining clamps. (Custom made for us  ) In a pinch we can temporarily use some ordinary hose clamps.

Thanks Bob, I thought maybe Peter was heating marinera sauce in it!!

strictlypersonl 12-05-2007 04:38 AM

Any sauce that Peter cooked would probably dissolve aluminum...

Peter uses a pin hole camera, circa 1898, with an exposure time of about two years.
