			Tonneau Snaps?

I installed my tonneau snaps today and before I did I pre-drilled the holes as they were very tight. I have since noticed that they come out the bottom in the wheel well about a 1/16 or an inch (I can feel the pointy tip with my finger). I made sure that I did not over tighten them as per the instructions and I did install the fiber washer as well. Did I just get a batch that are longer then usual or is this normal?

Remove them and grind a little off the length if you are concerned.

That's in an area that the tire never gets close to. You can leave them as they are.
