License plate light ?'s/Door Install ?'s
I have a couple of questions on the LPL assemby and door install..
1. The LPL has two brass tabs with rolled circle holders on the end. One mine there are copper "tubes" that are lose in the holders. I can not for the life of me get the tubes onto the harness connectors. I tighted the holders and put the harness connectors in their appropriate spots. Is this ok? 2. The chrome glass holder does not seem to mate up with the rubber plate that great. Is that normal or do I have to play around with it? Seems like it is hitting the glass. Not sure if it's a quality issue or I am missing something. I assume this to be a water tight situation. Door Install 1. One of the doors seems like I have a gasket problem and I'm not sure how to solve it. The gaps all around seem even, the latch lines up and locks on a semi-hard push. The bottom of one of the doors seems to not be closing properly because of the gasket hitting the door sill. Even when I push against it, the buldging does not seem to go away. Any idea's? |

The internals of a Cobra license plate light is an unusual setup, but it works great. That's a prime example of 1950's British engineering for you!
