Tire Size

Currently i have the huge GOODYEAR ( Roger Krause ) tires on my cobra that i bought last year. I love the rear tires but the front are way to big for the car. So big that they did a little damage to the inner fender well. ( nice little burn hole :CRY::mad:

So my question to everyone with an ERA is - what brands do you like out there and what size front tires are you running?

My photos need to changed up - i'll post them on my profile....

Thanks,

peternplymouth

Sorry to here about the damage Peter, hope all has been well with you. There are plenty of knowledgeable ERA guys here that will steer you in the right direction. Is your car still for sale? I didn't see you all summer.
Peter

Hey Peter

Very busy this past summer and decided to keep the cobra. I'm going to take the rims off and put her on jack stands over the winter. Spend the winter going threw her and start making a to do list. I would like to update the front brakes on the car. What brakes do you have in your SUPER CLEAN cobra?

Who is that guy you were using for some of the work that you had done?

Nice hearing from you -

Peter

Petern,
I have an early chassis ERA and my previous Hoosiers "clearanced" the front wheel wells slightly too. Not at all bad and only at full lock-a rare occurance. I just cut the panel for the ERA air vent and screen right there with no ill effect. The Billboards fit just fine and my front frame ride height is under 5". Be certain you got the correct front size from RKR.

Replaced the original GM single piston fronts with ERA's Wilwood rotors and calipers and their modified spindles years ago. All the brake you'll ever want.
