Aluminum side vent louvers - options
My side vent louvers are painted blue - same as the car - paint is now damaged.
Is it a good bet that those louvers, installed in the late 80's are aluminum with the option of taking them down to the aluminum and having them polished?
Also, are the relatively easy to take off of the Cobra for this task?

They are aluminum louvers, and they are installed with stainless steel fasteners so you can remove them. Getting in there and getting your hands on them is the toughest part. |

Thanks - I'll be working on that since the paint has bubbled up on one of them.

You'd better check. We used fiberglass louvers (glassed in) on the early cars.
