Looks awesome Jim!! I love the wheels, roll bar, right hand drive and right hand hand shifter.
Thanks for posting the pics Patrick. |
Ooooooh! Ahhhhhhh!
Nice job Jim! Patrick, you're OK for posting the pics. |
You guys need to see this in person
Jim and the ERA crew out did themself with this car. The pictures don't show you how really good this car is. It has the stance, the nasty look and noise that a GT should have. The Black rims really set off the whole car. I am not a fan of black but this one works. I thought Jim's green GT was a beautiful car, this one looks like it's going 200 mph just sitting there. Patrick: Thanks for posting these pictures for me.
...and thanks guys for all the positive comments. There are still some minor items to be completed on the car: carb airbox lid/brackets, different valve cover breathers, "puke" tanks for water and oil, AC "airbox" and 5 pt. seat belt installation. There is also a "drag" in the carb linkage which has to be resolved and an alignment to be done, but other than that it just about finished. Jim |
Might you bring it to the next Ford show at Mustangs Unlimited on June 14th ?

PeteF:
The push is to get the car done in time to make the trek out to Wisconsin for the GT40 reunion. I was at the Mustang Unlimited show last month with "Mad Max" my 66 Mustang. |
