Stock arms to tubular A-arms - how to attach sway bar

Hi Guys,

I am changing my stock M2 front suspension to coilover shocks and tubular A-arms (5/8" narrower). The problem is now connecting my current sway bar. Has anybody retained the M2 sway bar or did you have to change to a universal sway bar. I have seen several, some in front of the crossmember, some behind. Any thoughts or pics will be helpful.

Did you check with whoever made your new control arms? They may have a ready-made solution.

They do have one that may be my default bar, but I was looking for ways to use the M2 bar. Theirs goes behind the cross member and my current bar is in front. Want to make sure I checked all options before making the change.

This is my solution. It's a steel strap attached to the stock sway bar mount in front with a short bolt and in the rear with a U clamp. It has worked great for long rallies and track days.

Is that the stock M2 bar mounted inside the cross member or is it an aftermarket sway bar?
