value EM cobra

Hy,
I'm speaking with lot of People here in Italy about variuos cobras replicas, like Superformance, Era, Sumo, Pillgrim and also less known as My Everett-Morrison...
How mutch could be the price of a complete and perfect cobra replica of this companies? And an original one?
Than in Europe we have to pay the shippement, the taxis and the rarity of the car for us...
Thank you
If true, if EM is out of buisness, how could this change the value of EM cobras?

This is one person's opinion.
1. Many Cobra replica makers have gone out of business. That generally does not affect the value of their cars.
2. Prices for Everett-Morrison cars are about the same as many other small Cobra replica makers. It's value depends more on its condition and components than the name of the maker.
3. Your car would be a little less valuable than many here in the USA because the smaller 289 engine is less popular in the 427 body car. But that may be a plus in Italy where gas prices are likely much higher.
4. Like Italy, it is somewhat harder to register a Cobra replica in California than in many other places in the USA. So cars that are already registered there are more valuable to people who live there. You may find that your car is worth more after it is fully legal to drive than before.
5. Here's my wild guess as to the value of your car (in US dollars).
  • Your car in the USA: $30,000 to $45,000
  • Shipping to Italy: $2,000
  • Rarity in Italy: $5,000
  • Premium for having it registered: $5,000
  • Total Value: $42,000 to $57,000

The value of a real Cobra 427SC built in the 1960s is likely more than $500,000. Some sell for millions of dollars.

Thank you Tommy, I'm agree with you, and I can tell you that we have to pay from 25% to more than 30% of custom duties ...
However I saw lot of cobras asking for 65000 euro or more, their price here is very high... but also very difficult to sell them...
Maybe the superformance is the company well known here... and are their price is 100000 euro... incredible... how mutch cost more or less a superformance in USA?
