Everett-Morrison Web Site Expired

I just tried to get on the E-M website and it's expired. Also no advertisment in this month's Kit Car mag. Doesn't look good.

I've been trying to order FE headers for my Cobra since X-mas of 2007. At first, they were helpful, although slow to respond to my inquiries. I'll be looking for headers from an alternate source. Any ideas out there?

Contact StainlessWorks--they are in Ohio

Tom,

I feel for you. I hate to see the E-M car go away. I have one that I finished in 2000 and love it. Go to the Kitcarfourm.com and ask them and check out the venders over there. How far are from finishing. PM me if you want.

I don't know what the status of EM is but they did have a nice looking display and car at Run n Gun in Oct. Maybe Clois or Dean would have current contact info for them. You can contact them by clicking on their ad or going to runngun.net.
The current economy and dramatic increases in raw materials and the cost to be in business has to be making it difficult for a KIT CAR business to make sense. If I had to depend on the sales of my kits to support my family I wouldn't be in business. I am fortunate to be able to do my cars because it's something that I am passionate about.
I hope EM is still around. I think that they offer a top notch Cobra option. John

I finished my em about 6 monthes ago, the previous owner Brett, helped me as much as he could, the new owner, I think her name was Juleit, helped me none at all, I left some not so pleasant messages on her phone recorder, that she didnt like, finnally got her to call me, and we had some words, I will leave it at that, the last thing I did tell her was that the way she treated me, and if she runs her bussiness the same way she would fail.

I am sure this is a business stradagy that we are not use to. I think this is part of their stradagy to make their business successful.:eek::eek::eek:

I have given up and gone elsewhere.

I just went to their website and it's up.

They seem to make a nice product. You might want to retry again.

Me too.

Maybe they just moved their hosting service? Stuff like this happens when you move to another website hosting service.

Spoke to EM yesterday, the site was owned by the original owners and they're working out switching ownership of the domain name.

Tom Cimino 11-07-2008 07:34 AM

I tried it again and it's working now. Thanks to all.

Clois Harlan 11-07-2008 09:19 AM

I think they are still around because I spoke to Tom Knickerbocker just last week and he didnt' mention anything about closing shop. In fact I think he was excited about the 4 orders they had recently received. Here is Toms email address why don't you ask him for yourself: Thomas C. Knickerbocker, AICP [knitho@comcast.net]

I'm one of those recent orders and have been in regular contact with Tom, Julie and Elizabeth, who explained the website issue as the former owners and transfer issues to the new owners (Julie). The website is back up again, I'll be out there next month to pick up my kit components. I'm having no issues getting in contact with them.

This is great news, Mark.

It really was a tough break with the hurricane. Wishing Julie a speedy cleanup and business back to normal.

Ralphy 03-24-2010 09:23 PM

The new EM web site is up!

priobe 03-25-2010 09:51 AM

Ok the site is up

The phones are working.

Can I place an order for a carpet trunk kit and a leather shifting boot.

I dont mean to sound rude but I am fustrated. I wanted to have the trunk kit and shifterboot so I can finish the car.

I am spending money but yet it is difficult to get in touch with someone.

What is a good time period to get upset and start marking noise?

I have been calling all week and have not received a response.

Advice please.

Sorry to hijack this thread

Yes, still no online catalog, which vanished um, maybe 6 months ago.
I had a cell number to call. However I can't find it.
