nope ,no narrowing of the frame, bodys are direct bolt onto the frame, minor aluminum trimming ,use pindrive width control arms to attain 54" hub to hub width, front and rear, slab body is 1" wider at the wheel lips, 62", FiA is same width at wheel lips as standard 427 body, cockpit opening is a composite size(in other words an averaged size of all the cockpits I measured) as measured from as many real and replica cobra as I could measure ( ErA ,Contemporary,Unique,CSX2000 series, F5, Superformance ,B+B,and a few others I don't remember)
