Vacuum leak?

I have a Factory Five roadster with a 5.0 HO equipped with a trick flow topend kit installed two years ago. Experiencing what I think is a vacuum leak thats making a high pitched noise similar to a slipping fan belt thats not the fanbelt but coming from the top of the motor.
Anyone ever experienced such, or has an idea on how to identify leak. It's a leak that I can't readily identify the source.
Appreciate any advise.
Thanks
Jay

Hi Jay,

How long after startup before the noise occurs?

Does the noise disappear if you remove the oil cap, or the dipstick?

Can you use a length of hose to identify the source, or spray some water around and note the behaviour/sound of the engine?
