Why Does Ride Height Change?

I don't understand all the FFR ride height adjustment posts. If the rear spring is not turning, why does the ride height change? If the spring is turning, why not lock it with cable clamps at the upper flange edges?

Not sure why....My FFR with donor springs constantly needed to be reset. My guess old springs.

There are a number of guys/gals that have done just what you are suggesting once the height is set.

For me the answer was coil overs.

My FFR is seven years old now with standard springs and I have never had to adjust them and the car stance has remained exact. Don't know what to tell you.
