Ls1 Ffr?

Has anyone done an LS1 powered FFR? Do they have a website or email address? How difficult and cost intensive would this be, keeping in mind I already have the engine and six speed tranny? Oh, and I really don't care about it being a Chevy engine, so please don't try to persuade me otherwise because of resale, loyalty, etc. Thanks.

check out www.ffcobra.com

There's a guy there who's doing an LS1/T56 in an FFR.

(You'll have to fabricate mounts, plumbing, headers, etc etc.)

I'm sure he's got pics.

I'm not building a FFR Cobra but there are quite a few of us starting to use the LS1 & T56. There are about 4 people I know currently building or have built LS1 powered Cobras.

Personally I think the LS1 and T56 is an excellent choice for a Cobra power train.

One thing I might suggest though is that you go with an IRS. The T56 is such a long transmission that you may run into difficulties with tailshaft angles using a live axle.

Cheers

LS1 & FFR

A friend of mine is installing an LS1 in a FFR roadster. He has the engine and tranny mounted, and is now ready to tackle the headers. He is trying to find someone to custom build them. Also issues with fuel delivery system. Not many pump / regulator systems out there that can handle the pressures required for this motor.

He purchased the motor and transmission for $4,500 with 27,000 miles on it. Good deal I believe.
