fe oil filter housings

who sells the oil filter housing, bracket, engine mount for the fe's?, i have seen pictures of the oil filter mounted off the waterpump, just curious how much the set up costs. i have the canton oil filter housing that mounts to the block but in a ffr you are limited to the short filter.

ERA sells one setup. It's very nicely done with all premade hoses and the mounting bracket. I'm about to modify my setup to include an oil thermostat.

I have the brackets, I get the filter housings from Finishline.

I think Dave Dralle makes them. I bought one of of him. Quality piece.

i saw a picture on one of the shelby sites that included all 3 pieces, but there was no price?.

Finish Line gets $95 for the remote mount and $65 for the screw-on adapter. The mounting bracket is just a flat plate, shaped and drilled. You might consider fabricating it yourself. That, or ask ERA or mickmate for a price on the piece.

Does anyone know what the remote mount's native four holes were supposed to bolt to? Is it just meant to be a generic mount, or did it fit something specific once upon a time?

Here is a double mount and single. I'm pretty sure this fits (3/4") the ford filter.

They have others.

Hey wrench I see you have a small block. If you want the period correct look then the Finishline part will do it (with my bracket of course) or if you just want the remote filter then your local auto parts or the Summit route is the way to go. If you want help with either to fit a SB water pump bolts let me know.

i have a 445 fe to replace my small block, i like the look of the shelby bracket it is a cast piece, with built in spacers. i can easily make the steel one like era shows.

If your not worried about originality, another option is the Kirkham mount.

I'm not sure what the price is, but it seems like it was about the same as the finishline setup. The Kirkham has one advantage in that it accepts the ORB fittings which eliminates the AN to pipe adapters. (one less joint)

My OEM-style system has 1/2 NPT ports, for which you can get swivel hose ends (AN-10 to 1/2 NPT). No adapter nipples needed.
