fe distributor gears
i have a kc comp cam hydraulic roller cam for my 445 fe when i bought all the stuff there wasnt any options for the msd distributor gears other then a bronze gear, i was wondering if there is anything new available now?.

They do have a composite gear now... I would call KC ask them about it.

I'm running a FMS cast iron gear (per Keith's advice) on my hydraulic roller KC Pond 482 motor. I spot checked it after 6K miles and both gears appear to be wear free. I believe his custom Comp Cams hydraulic rollers come with a pressed-on cast iron distrbutor gears anyway.

undy, when did you buy your cam?, i purchased mine dec of 2007 part number
33-000-9 sn# m3202-07 i am not sure if mine had a pressed on gear i remember it being a copper color in different areas.

It came with/in the engine that Keith built. It was about 2007.
